Live Arrival Guarantee
Cerberus Aquatics strives to provide the best quality, tank-bred livestock possible. For this reason, we offer a "live arrival guarantee" on all fish ordered through our mailing service.
-
This service does not include shipping charges and fees - these charges are non-refundable
-
This guarantee is void once the bag has been opened
-
We do not accept returns due to tank size issues, tank mate conflict, or other similar issues.
In the event that you do suffer a loss during transit, please notify us immediately after confirming the loss. Do not discard loss until you contact us and receive authorization to do so.
We REQUIRE:
-
A clear, non-obstructed video showing the process of opening the box for the FIRST time and showing the livestock that was received.
-
Livestock that is not received immediately from the carrier will not be guaranteed. It is your responsibility to be prepared and present for your incoming shipment.
-
If there is any visible damage to the exterior of your package, immediately notify the carrier, take a video/picture of the package, and open the package in front of the carrier so that they are able to take note of the occurring damage for claims made with the shipping carrier.
-
It is also your responsibility to be aware of the proper tank parameters needed for the livestock you have purchased. We suggest acclimating your new arrivals by #1: Float all new arrivals in your tanks for 15-20 minutes. This helps the water in the sealed bags to slowly get to the same temperature as the aquarium water. #2: After 15-20 minutes, open the bag, pour everything in the bag into a container and then slowly add water from the tank to the container. #3: Wait 10-15 minutes, repeat step #2. You will be helping to acclimate your new arrival to your parameters slowly without sending them into shock. #5: Finally, wait another 10-15 minutes, catch the fish and deposit into the tank. Discard of the shipping materials and contents appropriately.
For all DOA Refunds photos and videos (as mentioned above) will be required!
Pictures and videos must be received within two (2) hours of delivery, NO EXCEPTIONS. For special instances, please contact us directly as soon as the issue arises so that we may direct you to the appropriate action to take.
Please keep any direct contact short and concise so that we may better serve you!
We want to continue to have the ability to make our customers happy, and in order to do so we must have these guidelines in place. We appreciate your understanding and we look forward to doing business with you!
